Blue, the way rivers run it: deep in the channel, pale at the edges where the light gets in. The Epera begins there, named for the people who live along Ecuador's Cayapas River, and it carries moving water in every row.

Handwoven from 100 percent recycled acrylic, shades of blue work through cream in a pattern all its own, across 92 by 78 inches of cloth that asks for nothing and gives everything.

Machine wash cold on gentle, tumble dry low. It is the cool hand on a warm evening, the river brought indoors.
